Three ways to install
1. From the WordPress directory
Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme\nSearch, preview, then "Install" and "Activate"2. Upload a zip
Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme\n→ "Upload Theme" → choose your theme.zip\n→ Install Now → Activate3. Via FTP
Upload the theme folder into wp-content/themes/ and it appears in Appearance → Themes.
Preview before you activate
Use the Live Preview button to see how your site looks with the new theme before committing. You can switch back instantly at any time.
Practical exercise
Install a second theme from the directory (try one of the Twenty series) and preview it on your site.
