Global Styles store your site's design decisions — palette, fonts, spacing — as central settings that every block inherits.

What Global Styles control

• Palette — primary, secondary and accent colours
• Typography — fonts for headings and body text
• Spacing — default padding and margins
• Layout — content width and gap sizes

How to use them

Appearance → Editor → Styles\nClick the pencil (Edit styles)\nChange colours, fonts and spacing\n# Changes flow through the whole site automatically

Typography best practices

• Limit yourself to two fonts: one heading, one body
• Choose fonts from the Google Fonts library built into the editor
• Keep body text at 16px or larger for readability
• Test line length — about 60–75 characters per line is comfortable

Tip: Good global styles mean you rarely need to style individual blocks — set it once, site-wide.
