The PlayStation 4 is one of the best-selling consoles of its generation, and tens of millions of them are still in homes, repair shops and classrooms. This hands-on course turns you into a confident PS4 technician.

Starting from the inside out, you will learn the hardware that makes the PS4 tick, how to open it safely, how to clean it and renew the thermal paste, how to diagnose the classic faults (no power, disc errors, dead controllers, missing video) and how to fix them.

You will also learn the legal side of modding - what firmware, jailbreaks and homebrew really are, what is legal, what is not, and how to manage storage, save data and game backups responsibly.

By the end you will be able to service a PS4 from open to close, explain its faults clearly, and handle firmware and game management the right way.
