Menus

Appearance → Menus\n- Create a menu\n- Add pages: Home, About, Courses, Contact\n- Assign it to the header location\n- Set the primary location

Homepage setup

Settings → Reading → Your homepage displays\n- A static page (choose Home)\n- Or your latest posts

Widgets

Widgets add content to sidebars and footers: recent posts, search, social links, calendars. In block themes these become block patterns.

A typical structure

• Home — hero, highlights, call to action
• About — story, team, values
• Services / Courses — offerings
• Blog — news and posts
• Contact — form and map

Menus that convert

• Keep 4–7 items maximum
• Put the most important first
• Add a clear "Contact" or "Enroll"
• Mirror the menu on mobile

Tip: Order menu items by what visitors actually click, not by what the site owner prefers.
