• Filter by business, blog, portfolio
• Preview before installing
• Install → Activate

What to look for

• Responsive (works on phones)
• Fast-loading and light
• Actively maintained and updated
• Compatible with the block editor
• Good support and reviews

Customising a theme

Appearance → Customize (or full-site editor)\n- Site identity: logo, title, tagline\n- Colours and typography\n- Header and footer\n- Menus and widgets

Child themes

When you edit theme code, use a child theme so updates to the parent theme do not wipe your changes.

Tip: Try the default themes first (like Twenty Twenty-Five) — they are fast, secure and surprisingly capable.
